Wire Wrapping Services – Terms & conditions
Welcome to Aussie Opals! We’re thrilled to have you here and want to ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. 1. Service Overview
Aussie Opals offers custom wire wrapping services for opals and other gemstones. Each piece is handcrafted and may vary slightly in appearance due to the natural character of the stone and the handmade process.
2. Customer-Supplied Stones
- Customers may request wrapping of stones purchased from Aussie Opals.
- We do not accept responsibility for damage to stones provided by customers from outside sources. Stones sent to us are wrapped at the customer’s own risk.
3. Materials Used
- Wire options (e.g., sterling silver, gold-filled, copper) will be agreed upon prior to starting.
- All wire is guaranteed to be genuine material as described.
- Due to the handmade nature, minor variations may occur.
4. Payment & Pricing
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before work begins.
- Balance must be paid in full prior to shipping.
- All prices are in AUD unless otherwise specified.
5. Turnaround Time
- Standard turnaround is 2–4 weeks depending on design complexity.
- Rush orders may be available at an additional fee.
6. Shipping & Insurance
- Shipping costs are paid by the customer.
- Aussie Opals is not responsible for loss or damage during transit. Customers are encouraged to request insurance on shipments.
7. Returns & Refunds
- Wire wrapping services are custom-made and therefore non-refundable.
- If there is a fault in workmanship (excluding normal wear, stone flaws, or mishandling), repairs will be offered at no additional charge within 30 days of delivery.
8. Care Instructions
- Wrapped jewellery should be handled gently, kept away from chemicals, and stored separately to prevent scratches.
- Damage caused by misuse is not covered.
9. Liability
- Aussie Opals is not responsible for natural flaws, inclusions, or breakage of stones during or after the wrapping process.
- By commissioning our services, the customer accepts these risks.
10. Agreement
By placing an order for wire wrapping services with Aussie Opals, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
